Situated in the heart of North Carolina, David Cole Pottery
is open by appointment and during seasonal kiln opening events. Located in Oak Ridge, the pottery is only minutes from the
Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro. We are just two hours west of the Raleigh Durham area, 2 hours east of
the Asheville/mountain area, and 2 hours north of Charlotte.
A visit for collectors and pottery enthusiasts find reaching
the studio and gallery very convenient. They are often surprised by the scenic beauty of the area which includes a local
grist mill. One of the most photographed historical sites in the state, The Old Mill of Guilford is less than a mile from
the pottery and is one of the last remaining grist mills in the nation still in operation since the 1700's. Please include
